Homemade Applesauce! Over the Christmas break my Mom & I made Christmas Dinner together, and when we impressively finished early we cracked out a few ingredients to make fresh applesauce! Also over Christmas, with my Husband's family made tamales which was so much fun!
It's probably more simple than you can imagine.
All you need is a slow cooker; if you don't have one, use a pressure cooker.
Turn on the high heat setting. Add about 1/2 of water, 1 tbsp of Honey/Agave Sweetener & 1 tsp Cinnamon.
Grab pears, apples, any crunchy fruit you like! (Around 2 lbs)
Core them.

Once they are all done being cored, throw them into the Slow Cooker with above ingredients. Everything will cook on high for about 3 - 4 hours, then stir around; if you like a hearty sauce, leave as is, but if you like it smooth, move ingredients to either a Bamix, or Blender.
